Baby, it is fully respectable to be a true-blue steel magnolia. The strongest souls I know carry both gentleness and grit — a little grace, a little holy stubbornness — because the willow that bends but does not break is too busy growing deep roots and reaching for light to waste time proving anything to anyone.

And when you speak from strength — not your own, because that runs dry — but the strength given to you before you drew breath by your Creator, secured for you through the sacrifice of your Savior, and sustained every moment by the steady comfort of the Holy Spirit… that kind of strength changes the atmosphere.
It can feel scary. Solid foundations usually do.
Because when your life is built on the Rock and the living Word, storms still come — but they don’t get the final say. Mountains move. Stars fade. Paths open where none existed before. It’s not easy, no — but we serve a long-view God, and this side of heaven we are travelers learning to walk toward home together.
So go ahead — be a little scary today. Speak truth with love. Stand firm with kindness. Let the world hear a voice shaped by grace and courage and hope that refuses to quit.
